From 1415 to 1769, Portuguese destroyed and rebuilt number of Moroccan cities along the Atlantic coast such Casablanca and Eljadida. They made Morocco a priority for their colonial expansions due to its geographical position as well as the piracy activities that were developed during the 15th and 16th centuries by the Andalusian refugees. The Portuguese settled in different Moroccan Atlantic coastal cities where they established massive lofty bastions and walls to this day.

The objective of this tour is tour is to explore the heritage left by the Portuguese during their 354 years of occupation.
