This unique journey blends the coastal beauty of Essaouira, the cultural richness of Marrakech, and the raw splendor of the desert. Over 6 days, travel from the Atlantic shores to the high Atlas Mountains and into the golden dunes of the Sahara. You'll visit ancient kasbahs, explore lush palm groves, sleep under the stars, and experience the diversity of Morocco’s landscapes and traditions—all with the comfort of a private driver, local insights, and high-quality accommodations.

Detailed Program

DAY 1 : Agadir – Essaouira

Meet and greet in Agadir and depart for Essaouira via the scenic coastal road along the Atlantic.
Stop for lunch along the way (not included).
Arrival in Essaouira in the afternoon.
Explore the historic city known for its whitewashed walls, blue shutters, and laid-back atmosphere.
Visit:
The Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah Museum
The Scala du Port and the fortified ramparts
– The vibrant medina and fishing port
Stroll through the narrow alleyways filled with artisan shops and cafés.
Dinner and overnight in a charmingriad in Essaouira.

DAY 2 : Essaouira – Marrakech

After breakfast, depart for the bustling city of Marrakech.
Upon arrival, explore the legendary Jemaael-Fna Square with its storytellers, musicians, and street food vendors.
Enjoy a guided visit through the souks and the medina, with time to explore at your own pace.

Ben Youssef Madrasa

Dinner and overnight in a riad in the medina of Marrakech.

 

DAY 3 : Marrakech – Ouarzazate

Early departure for Ouarzazate via the dramatic Tizi’n Tichka Pass at 2260m.
From there, detour into the Ounila Valley, once an ancient caravan route.
Visit the spectacular:
Telouet Kasbah
Ksar Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Continue to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Desert.”
Dinner and overnight in a charming guesthouse or 4★ hotel in Ouarzazate.

 

DAY 4 : Ouarzazate – Chigaga Desert

Depart toward the Draa Valley, through rugged mountain landscapes and winding roads to Agdz.
Enjoy the contrast as arid mountains give way to lush date palm groves.
Drive through the palm-filled valley, explore small Berber villages and stop at Tamgrout, known for its traditional green pottery and ancient Quranic library.
After passing the Tinfou Dune, continue to M’Hamid, where the road ends and the Sahara begins.
Take a 4x4 into the dunes for a 2-hour off-road adventure to reach the majestic Erg Chigaga.
Experience the magic of the desert with a night in a luxury bivouac, complete with a traditional dinner and Saharan music under the stars.
Dinner and overnight in Chigagadesert camp.

DAY 5 : Chigaga – Oasis of Fint

Depart the desert by another scenic off-road route.
Return to the paved road at Foum-Zguid, then head to Tazenakht, a town famous for its Berber carpets and weaving cooperatives.
Arrive at the hidden Oasis of Fint, a lush green haven near Ouarzazate accessible via a track road.
Enjoy the peaceful ambiance of this secluded palm grove surrounded by dramatic rock formations.
Dinner and overnight in a traditional inn at the Oasis of Fint.

DAY 6 : Oasis of Fint – Agadir

After breakfast, return to Agadir via a scenic route:
– Pass through Tazenakht again
– Cross Taliouine, capital of saffron production (optional saffron cooperative visit)
– Continue through Taroudant, known as the "Little Marrakech" with impressive ramparts and a charming old town
Arrival in Agadir in the late afternoon.
End of services and drop-off at your pre-arranged location.

Inclusions

Accommodation on HB (half-board) in all hotels except the show dinner day.

Transportation by Mercedes Vito for 2 to 5 pax, and Mercedes Sprinter for 6 to 12 pax.

Transfer by 4WD from Erfoud to Merzouga and vice versa.

Camel ride for a beautiful sunset.

Show dinner at Chez Ali or Palais Dar Soukkar.

Local guides in Casablanca, Essaouira, Marrakech, Fez, Chefchaouen, Tangier, and Rabat.

Entrance fees to monuments mentioned in the itinerary.

1 bottle of water per pax per day.
